I have pre-existing medical conditions. Can I get cover for these on my policy too?

InsureandGo does not automatically include cover for any pre-existing medical conditions. All conditions can be considered via a medical questionnaire that you can either complete online or through the call centre. Please contact us if you would like to complete the questionnaire over the phone.

I don't have receipts for my personal items. Can I still make a claim?

InsureandGo requires you to show proof of ownership in the event of a claim; it is therefore highly recommended that you keep the receipts/valuation certificates. If you are unable to provide proof of ownership your claim could be declined. Please contact us if you have any other questions.

What is the Car Rental Excess Waiver? / How does rental vehicle excess cover works?

We offer a rental vehicle excess waiver of up to $4,000 on Silver and up to $8,000 on Gold for International policies; & up to $5,000 in Domestic policies provided you hire the car for 36 days or less for International Policies and 22 days for Domestic policies. This means that you will be covered for up to $8,000 for International policies & up to $5,000 in Domestic policies if you have to forfeit excess with the hire car company. The rental car must have no more than 9 seats and not be driven off-road.

We will reimburse the Rental Car insurance excess charged to you through the rental car company if a car you have rented during your trip is involved in a motor vehicle accident while you are driving, or is damaged or stolen while in your custody.

This cover does not take the place of rental vehicle insurance or third-party damage insurance and only provides cover for the excess component up to the applicable benefit limit.
