What is a pre-existing medical condition?

Pre-existing medical conditions aren’t automatically covered, but cover for these may be provided through a medical assessment. You can complete this assessment online during the quotation process or speak with our team over the phone.

A pre-existing medical condition refers to any diagnosed medical condition for which you or any insured person has suffered from or has received any form of medical advice, treatment or medication in the past 2 years.

To determine if your condition can be covered, simply complete the medical assessment. If you prefer to do this over the phone, our team is happy to assist.

For full details of the benefits, terms and conditions, limits, sub-limits and exclusions that may apply, please refer to the relevant Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) here.
