Customer stories

"Travel insurance is the one vital travel expense we are willing to pay for and never use. We had been using InsureandGo for several years as the cover for snow sports is well priced and straightforward to understand, but had never needed to make a claim. That all changed in 2024 when one of our party broke their leg while skiing in Canada.

Contact with the team was good, though we learned quickly that when communicating across time zones, clarity is everything. References to "today" and "tomorrow" can mean very different things depending on where you are in the world. Once we started using actual days and dates, the whole process became much easier to navigate.

From there, things ran smoothly. We were personally escorted through the airports, repatriated back to Australia in business class with flat seating as required, and provided with ground transport home to Sydney.

Once home, the claims process was straightforward. We provided our travel documents, receipts and any supporting information Insure&Go needed. It can feel overwhelming, but the team is available by phone if you need guidance. Our claim was processed faster than expected and resolved fairly for both sides.

We have continued to use InsureandGo for subsequent holidays and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them."
