Reckon Australian Airport Lounges are the cream of the crop? Far from it! These little airport luxuries can make being in transit a whole lot more sensational.

Om Spa – Hong Kong

The Regal Airport Hotel never felt so relaxing than at the Om Spa. Sitting alongside a range of restaurants, pools, bars, and a gym, this lavish spa offers a variety of massages, not to mention face and body treatments. We highly recommend a splash in the Jacuzzi too!

According to the World Airport Awards, Hong Kong Airport also holds the top spot for Best Dining.

Finnair Premium Lounge – Helsinki

Put the gloss on your Nordic travels and check out the minimalist luxury at the Helsinki airport, where 400m2 of lounge space greets you. If the lounge pods don’t grab you, perhaps the sauna and the wine cellar will.

Hot meals are served here, and there’s also a relaxation room for adults and a playroom for the kids.

CIP Airport Lounge – Istanbul

Turkey is a beautiful country and for those lucky enough, the beauty can start (or end) at the luxurious CIP lounge at Istanbul airport.

Here, you get pool tables, a library, private sleeping rooms and even a grand piano. If you’re travelling with kids, there’s a special playroom for them, too.

Ambassador Rooftop Swimming Pool – Singapore

It’s no surprise that Changi took out the top spot at the World Airport Awards in 2014.

This amazing rooftop pool and Jacuzzi is part of the Ambassador Transit Hotel and is open to anyone passing through Changi Airport. The entry fee also gets you one free (non-alcoholic) drink at the bar.

Timeless Day Spa – Dubai

You’ll feel timeless indeed as you get pampered at this luxury spa in the Dubai airport! Simply head to Terminal 3 and you can indulge in facials, massages, spa rituals and body treatments to boot.

If you really want to treat yourself, you can also buy yourself a gift voucher in advance!

Etihad Lounge – Abu Dhabi

The Middle East is all about opulent style and the Etihad Lounge offers lucky First and Business class travellers the best of the rest.

Premium cigars and top-shelf champagne are available here, as are private workstations, dens with individual TV pods and spa treatments.

Tom Bradley International Terminal – Los Angeles

Love a spot of luxury shopping? You can do just that at LAX, where the Tom Bradley International Terminal brings you brands like Bvlgari, Porsche, Vertu and HUGO BOSS. Don’t forget to top it all off with a stop at the Petrossian Caviar and Champagne Bar – and a glimpse at the 360-degree views.

Incheon International Airport – Seoul

If you ever want to feel like you’re not in an airport, Seoul is the place to do it! Spas, saunas and private resting rooms are big drawcards here, but it’s wandering through the magnificent gardens that really take the cake. Swinging by the Observation Deck is also a must as well.
