What criteria did Finder use for Best Domestic Travel Insurance?
Finder’s team of experts reviewed over 30 travel insurance providers, assessing them based on the following features:
- Accidental death
- Rearrangement costs
- Cancellation costs
- Delayed luggage
- Lost luggage
- Personal liability
- Total permanent disability
- Rental vehicle excess
- Theft of cash
They also included a price score based on three single travellers aged 20, 40, and 60 travelling from Sydney to Melbourne, departing 01/06/2026 and returning 15/06/2026.
