When you’re travelling with kids, a good kids club can make all the difference. Your chances of a few hours to relax go up exponentially when your kids are happy to head off for a few hours of fun. Some resorts take good kids clubs to the next level.

Gold Coast

Paradise resort, Gold Coast, Queensland

The Paradise Resort on the Gold Coast is perfectly named: it really is a kid’s paradise. The kids club operates four sessions a day for newborns through to twelve-year-olds, and facilities include a water park, laser tag and an ice skating rink. There’s a reason Paradise Resort is regularly named the best family resort in Australia.

LeDune Resort and Spa, Sardinia

The LeDune Resort and Spa has not one but four different kids clubs, catering to kids of different ages, all the way through to teenagers. A special kids’ restaurant, a replica wild west village, an inflatable pirate ship and a kids-only pool are just some of the incredible facilities at the island resort.

Resort, Fiji

Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort

For the budding marine scientist, there could be no better place to visit than the Jean-Michel Cousteau resort in Savusavu, Fiji. Kids under five receive one-on-one attention, and kids from 6-12 participate in a program designed to teach them about marine life and Fijiian culture while having fun. There’s even a junior chef program where they can learn about organic farming!

Niseko base snow sports

Niseko is Japan’s most popular ski resort and it’s easy to see why, with their family-friendly approach. The kids club caters for kids of all skiing and snowboarding abilities – from first timers to regulars. With all-day programs available, including lunch, parents are free to hit the slopes. The Niseko resort also includes an outdoor kids snow play area.
