Each plan provides cover for multiple international trips over a 12-month period, with trip duration options of 30, 45, or 60 days per journey, depending on your age and selected destination region.

Which Destination to Select
When purchasing an Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance policy, you’ll need to select a destination region that includes all the countries where you plan to spend more than 48 hours during the 12-month policy period.
You don’t need separate policies for each country. Instead, choose one of the following destination brackets:

You do not need to notify us of each trip. Your policy covers multiple trips as long as each trip starts and ends in Australia, is within your selected region, and does not exceed the maximum trip duration (30, 45, or 60 days) shown on your policy schedule.

- Note: AMT Travel Insurance provides cover for medical and evacuation expenses while cruising within Australian territorial waters, and cancellation of cruise trips. Domestic Travel Insurance
Domestic Travel Insurance provides cover for trips within Australia for individuals, couples, or families.
- Trip cancellation, baggage, rental car excess, and other benefits.
 
	- Three levels of cover, Bare Essentials, Silver, or Gold, with optional upgrades such as Natural Disaster, Winter Sports, Business, or Golf cover.
 
	- This policy does not cover travel on commercial cruise ships. For cruises, select Cruise Travel Insurance.
 
Cruise Travel Insurance
Cruise Travel Insurance provides cover for domestic and international cruises.
- Onboard medical treatment, evacuation, cabin confinement, missed ports, cruise delays, and standard travel benefits such as baggage and cancellation.
 
	- Three levels of cover, Bare Essentials, Silver, or Gold, with optional upgrades such as Natural Disaster, Winter Sports, Business, or Golf cover.
 
	- Medical treatment is covered when the ship is at sea (in Australian or international waters), not when it is tied up at an Australian port. Other benefits apply while docked for up to 48 hours.

  What Is Included in Our Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance Plans?
Our Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance policies offer cover for a range of events that may occur before or during your overseas trips. There are three levels of cover to choose from: Bare Essentials, Silver, and Gold. Each level offers different benefits and limits, so it’s important to review these carefully to select the option that suits your needs.

Overseas Medical Treatment and Dental Emergencies
All three levels include unlimited overseas medical expenses, including hospital and surgical treatment.
 
Emergency dental treatment for immediate pain relief is covered up to $500 per person. Silver and Gold policies also include a hospital cash allowance (up to $2,500 for Silver and $5,000 for Gold).

Trip Cancellation or Interruption
Both our Silver and Gold policies offer reimbursement for non-refundable expenses if a trip is cancelled or cut short due to covered reasons. In the case of Silver policies, the coverage amount is up to $15,000 per person, while Gold policies provide cover up to an unlimited amount.

Baggage and Personal Belongings
Cover for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings is included in all levels: Bare Essentials up to $2,000, Silver up to $6,000, and Gold up to $8,000. Coverage limits apply per person, with sub-limits apply for individual items, electronics, and valuables. Silver and Gold also include delayed baggage cover.

Travel Delays
Silver and Gold policies include cover for additional meal and accommodation expenses if any individual leg of your trip is delayed for more than 12 hours. Silver provides up to $1,000, and Gold up to $2,000.

Personal Liability
All levels include cover for legal liability if you accidentally cause injury to someone or damage their property: Bare Essentials up to $1.5 million, Silver up to $2.5 million, and Gold up to $5 million.

Rental Car Excess Waiver
Silver and Gold policies include cover for the rental car insurance excess if your hire car is stolen or damaged. Cover is up to $4,000 per policy. Conditions apply, including vehicle type and rental duration.

Rental Car Excess Waiver
Silver and Gold policies include limited COVID-19 benefits, such as:
 
Medical expenses overseas: Unlimited cover if you are diagnosed with COVID-19 while travelling.
 
Trip cancellation or disruption: Up to $2,500 (Silver) or $5,000 (Gold) if you, a travelling companion, or a close relative (with a life-threatening infection) is diagnosed after purchase.
 
 
   
      
  Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance Exclusions and Limitations
While Insure&Go’s Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance offers broad benefits, there are important exclusions and conditions you should be aware of.

- Trip Duration Limit: Coverage only applies to trips up to 30, 45, or 60 days per journey, depending on the option you selected. Longer trips are not covered.
 
	- Domestic Travel Not Included: Annual Multi-Trip policies cover international travel only. Travel within Australia is excluded, so if you seek cover for travel within Australia, we offer Domestic Travel Insurance policies.
 
	- Excluded Destinations: No cover for travel to countries under Australian Government “Do Not Travel” advisories or sanctioned regions (e.g., Afghanistan, North Korea, Russia).
 
	- Pre-Existing Medical Conditions: These are not automatically covered. You must declare them during the quote process. Some conditions may require an additional premium or may not be covered.
 
	- High-Risk Activities: Cover is only available for activities listed in the Table of Covered Sports & Activities in the PDS and only if you follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment. Activities not listed are excluded unless they meet the criteria outlined in the PDS. 
 
	- Winter sports (such as skiing, snowboarding, heli-skiing, snowmobiling) are not covered unless you purchase the Winter Sports Cover upgrade, and it is shown on your policy schedule. Without this upgrade, any claim directly or indirectly related to winter sports will not be covered.
 
	- Travel Against Medical Advice: We do not provide cover if you travel against medical advice or for the purpose of seeking treatment.
 
	- Illegal or Reckless Behaviour: Claims arising from criminal acts, drug/alcohol misuse, or reckless actions are not covered under our policies. 
 
	- Unattended Belongings: Loss, theft, or damage to property left unattended in a public place or with someone you do not know is not covered, unless this was due to an unavoidable emergency (e.g., a medical emergency requiring you to leave immediately).
