Pre-Existing Medical Conditions:
InsureandGo strives to offer the best possible comprehensive coverage possible; therefore we consider all pre-existing medical conditions without any up-front medical certificates. A pre-existing medical condition is any condition for which you have received medical advice, treatment, or medication in the last five years.
Our policies cover many pre-existing conditions, some at no extra surcharge. To see if we can cover yours, please complete our medical assessment online at 4th step of quote journey or over the phone. Please note, failing to declare a pre-existing condition can void your policy.
To obtain a quote online, simply fill in the quote box above, which will allow you to compare our products and quotes. Before submitting your payment details, you have the option to declare all medical conditions online; this will only take you a few minutes. You will be able to save your quote for when you’re ready to purchase as all quotes are valid for 30 days. Note that selecting our Gold Level Coverage option will provide you with unlimited cancellation.
Travelling with grandchildren:
Spend more time with your grandchildren without spending any extra for your insurance. In addition to covering all your needs, your policy^ will cover any grandchildren (under 18yrs) travelling with you for free.
Relax even more on your next cruising holiday by making sure you’re covered by InsureandGo’s affordable Cruise travel insurance. All our cruise policies include the usual benefits of our single and multi-trip policies, with additional benefits tailored to your cruise holiday. Most Common Questions
1. What is the maximum age you can insure up to?
If you are aged 100 or under you may purchase your travel insurance from us. The levels of cover available and maximum trip duration that we will offer cover for will vary depending on your age.
3. Do you cover pre-existing medical conditions?
Yes, we consider all pre-existing medical conditions in all of our travel insurance products, except for our Domestic Travel Insurance. To determine whether your condition will be covered, you will need to complete the Medical Assessment during the purchase process online or over the phone.
5. If cover is refused for my pre-existing medical condition, am I still covered for my trip?
If, subject to our medical questionnaire, we are unable to cover your pre-existing medical conditions, we will only exclude any claims directly/indirectly relating to those conditions. Please keep in mind that you are still insured medically for a new condition that may unexpectedly arise overseas as well as accidental injuries and illnesses.
2. Is there a Senior's travel insurance policy I need to purchase?
No. Simply select the trip type that best describes your journey.
4. I have an elderly parent, am I covered if I have to cancel my trip due to something happening to my parents?
With our Silver and Gold policies, we do offer cover for cancelling your trip prior to departure due to the unforeseen accident, illness or injury of one of your parents. Your parents must live in Australia and be in Australia at the time, and this cover does not include any cover for pre-existing medical condition of non-travelling relatives.
6. Do you cover flight delays after departure?
Under the InsureandGo Silver and Gold levels of cover, we will reimburse the cost of your necessary additional meals and accommodation expenses, if during a trip, any individual leg of your trip, is delayed for more than 12 hours.
The amount you can claim varies depending on the level of cover that you have purchased with us. Please refer to the policy wording documents for more information.
