1. We have a land and cruise portion on our overseas journey. Is this all covered under Cruise?

Our Cruse policies cover you for the air, land and sea portion of your international journey.

3. Which countries do I take cover for if my cruise is going to multiple places, and departing from an international destination?

You will need to select the coverage that incorporates all the countries you are travelling to. If you are travelling the the USA, choose ‘Worldwide including North & South America’.

5. My cruise is leaving from Sydney going to the South Pacific. Which destination should I choose?

If you are leaving or returning to a domestic port such as Sydney or Melbourne you need to select your destination as ‘Domestic and Pacific’.

2. We are only going on an overnight cruise for part of journey. Do we still need cruise cover?

Under our policies, if you are travelling on an overnight cruise at any point of your journey we do require you to have a Cruise policy. This will cover you for the air, land and sea portion of your journey.

4. Does travel insurance cover me for anything that can go wrong on my trip?

Unfortunately not. There are limits and exclusions to all travel insurance policies, so we strongly advise you to read our product disclosure statement (or search [ctrl+F] for key words to check limits and exclusions) to see if our product is right for you.

6. Does the policy cover you for medical evacuation if you have to helicoptered off the ship ?

Yes, our policies covered for unlimited hospital, medical and surgical expenses in the event of unforeseen accident, illness or injury. This includes medical repatriation which means if it determined medically necessary and reasonable for you to be medically evacuated back to Australia for treatment.
