New Zealand named as a top destination
New Zealand has been named as one of the top ten countries in the world to visit in 2010, The Sydney Morning Herald has reported.
According to Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel guide, New Zealand offers many life changing experiences, including paragliding over Queenstown and kayaking in Abel Tasman National Park.
The other countries making up the rest of the top ten were El Salvador, Germany, Greece, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Portugal and the USA.
Despite not making it into the top ten countries list, Australia still received a mention in the guide’s top ten regions to visit.
Western Australia’s South West region was said to be one of the most desirable holiday destinations in the world.
InsureandGo offers great value travel insurance to Australians looking to explore their own country, and to those venturing further afield.
